Why buy Fine Jewelry? Part 1:

by | May 5, 2021 | Behind the Scenes, How To Buy

There are countless reasons to purchase fine jewelry.

Commemorate significant events, Marriage, Anniversary’s, Birth of a child, New Job, Birthday’s, Graduation, Inspirations, Turning points in one’s Life, or Just because. (Not necessarily in that order)

The most common first purchase of fine jewelry is Matrimony, the engagement ring.

Traditionally, the Gentleman would propose with a diamond ring to be worn on the left-hand ring finger. During the ceremony the couple would exchange wedding rings. The bride receiving a second ring/band to accompany the “engagement” ring and the Groom would receive a ring/band as well.

At Ma Mo we understand that “tradition is out the window” and there are no strict rules for the selection of wedding rings. Today’s modern couples can do whatever they desire. It can be a “stand alone” ring without an accompanying band. A colored gemstone ring instead of a diamond ring, or even a plain band.

There are countless choices to choose from to symbolize commitment to each other.

We will touch more on the topic of “Why Fine Jewelry?” later, the reasons why people give and receive fine jewelry.
